December 1, 2024In this issue, we spotlight the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton, Oregon—a state-of-the-art 45,000‑square‑foot multidisciplinary arts center that opened in 2022. Designed by Opsis Architecture and enriched by The Shalleck Collaborative, the center features a 550‑seat proscenium theatre whose back‑lit wood paneling and vivid blue seating evoke the warmth of a beaver’s home and the serene beauty of a pond. A standout is the custom Diva Shell, seamlessly integrated into the building’s architecture to deliver both striking visual appeal and world‑class acoustics.
